The CES Key Cylinder 815 by CES is a high-quality European locking mechanism with a keyed access point on one end and a thumb turn on the other. Available in four thumb turn styles and multiple finishes to coordinate with entry hardware.

How to Measure
Take three measurements from the edge of the door panel:

Door edge — side view

Inside face Outside face

A inside distance

B outside distance

C total door thickness (inside → outside, incl. roses)

A + B ≈ cylinder length (e.g. 63 mm or 71 mm)

A — inside distance to the cylinder centre (incl. rose/escutcheon)
B — outside distance to the cylinder centre (incl. rose/escutcheon)
C — total door thickness from inside face to outside face, including roses

On most doors the cylinder sits near the middle, so A and B are similar. Some designs have more hardware on one side, so A and B can differ. Dimensions listed above assume equal A and B lengths.
